Whether it's nutrition, shoes or training plans there are going to be a vast number of different ideas. What work's for one athlete may not work as well for another. Training- I have stick with one a day workouts. For rest and keeping injury free it works best for me, others prefer some two a days. Shoes- I think there are a number of shoes that would work well for the same runner. Nutrition- endurance products can have a completely different effect from one runner to the next. Guess only with some experimentation will each athlete determine what works best for her or him.

On training runs under 20 miles I run with water in my handheld (Nathan Speed Draw Plus). Runs between 20-29 I use Tailwind Endurance Formula). Two full scoops in handheld bottle and I refuel after 7 miles. For me most foods do not interest me or my stomach as the miles start to add up. If needed I can get use couple gels, but that's about it.

I am pretty basic - make sure I hydrate and eat a good post-run breakfast, then mix water and Gatorade G-Zero during the day after coffee ... but mostly water and food.

I’ve been using Ultima Replenisher in my water during the day. I like that it adds electrolytes, but doesn’t add calories. It comes in a lot of flavors and I’m liking the lemonade flavor I bought.

I mentioned last week (maybe??) that I've recently started using the Generation Ucan Hydrate Series (https://ucan.co/product-category/hydrate/). I like the taste and flavor and it's worked for me with no stomach issues.

I also use Nuun from time to time. I just wish my favorite flavors (Ginger/Cherry Limeade) came in a noncaffeinated version.

A few: nuun, coconut water, pedialyte (diluted sometimes), liquid IV powder and skratch. The liquid IV and skratch I both got in passionfruit flavor (accidentally) which I like but wow will I be sick of by the time I’m racing hahaha. I can do half a packet of liquid IV w lots of water too versus a full one. Pedialyte powder is great for post race/on the go. I also have tailwind but haven’t gotten to try it more than one. I’ll probably use Liquid IV and tailwind for my race whenever it happens.
